Itinerary:

Arrival and Safari Adventure Morning: Arrival in Gir Somnath Arrive at Gir Somnath either by train or road from your location. From the railway station or bus stand, you can hire a local taxi or opt for a pre-arranged transfer to your hotel or resort. Check-in at your accommodation (options range from budget to luxurious stays). Gir National Park Safari After settling in, head out for an exciting safari in Gir National Park. Safaris are available in two time slots: early morning (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM) and late afternoon (3:30 PM - 6:00 PM). It's a good idea to pre-book your safari, especially during the peak seasons. During your safari, you’ll have the chance to see the rare Asiatic lions, along with other wildlife like leopards, deer, and a variety of birds. Devalia Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone) If you’re unable to secure a safari in the forest, you can visit Devalia Safari Park, an enclosed area within the Gir National Park, where wildlife sightings are guaranteed. This is a great alternative for a second safari experience. Evening at Leisure After your adventurous day, unwind and relax with dinner at your hotel or resort.

Religious and Cultural Exploration Morning: Visit Somnath Temple Begin your day with a visit to the famous Somnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. This ancient temple holds great spiritual significance and attracts pilgrims from around the world. Spend some time admiring the temple's stunning architecture and serene surroundings. Bhalka Tirth & Triveni Ghat Afterward, visit Bhalka Tirth, a sacred spot where Lord Krishna was struck by an arrow. This is a key pilgrimage site for Hindus. Continue your spiritual journey by heading to Triveni Ghat, where three rivers converge, and devotees come for rituals and prayers. Shopping & Souvenirs Before departing, take some time to explore the local markets for unique handicrafts and souvenirs to remember your trip. Departure Depending on your travel schedule, you can either leave in the evening or catch a night bus or train for your return journey.
